Quick Update

Here is the update to my previous post, as promised . . .

I had a doctor's appointment this week and I sat down and talked with my doctor about what our next steps should be!
So here is what we have decided, for now. . .

* I will continue to take Metformin and focus on getting back into back into shape. My diet will be mostly protein, veggies and fruit (little-to-no carbs or sugar) and LOTS of exercise.
* I will be going back to the doctor in September (unless I'm pregnant before then, FiNgErS CrOsSeD) and at that time I will most likely be switching to Clomid (an ovulation stimulant).

Thank you so much for all those who have been praying for us and for all the words of encouragement, Chris and I GREATLY appreciate it!

"Delight yourself in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart!" - Psalm 37:4

  5. Hi, Bethany! I have never read your blog before, but just wanted to encourage you to not give up. I, too, have PCOS (what a drag) and battled infertility. I started on Clomid and actually had completed the six "allowed" cycles (after that, it is off to the reproductive endo), and had been on Metformin for four months when BAM, I spontaneously ovulated. My husband and I were blessed seven (That's right... SEVEN) short months later with a 4 pound baby boy... he is now almost 10! Hang in there. Infertility and PCOS is rough. I pray that you will get pregnant real soon, and wouldn't that be great if you got into great shape while waiting? I need to get on that bandwagon! Best of luck!
